She was the very warmth of home. Always smiling, always welcoming… the kind of woman who made any house feel like home.
I carry her within me. That image, that feeling… safely tucked away in my heart. It was from that place of love that Zaeri was born.
Once, this was grandma’s house. With a courtyard blooming with jasmine. A clay pot simmering on the hearth. And that old table where children, grandchildren, friends, and neighbours gathered.
We didn’t change a thing. The cupboard is still there. So are the photos. And somehow, the scent of warm bread still lingers.
We simply opened the door. Not to transform it, but to share it.
Restaurant
At the harbor of Hersonissos, Zaeri stands between sky and sea. The view soothes the soul. The tables are set with care, just like grandma used to do. The food tells its stories. Time flows gently. Voices lower. People linger.
And when night falls, it embraces you softly, like grandma’s arms once did.
